Emily    TYWLS of Astoria

This year-long 2-credit course will follow the Algebra 1 Common Core Curriculum as outlined on the engageny website, "A Story of Functions." Our studies will focus specifically on linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. We will explore these functions through indepth analysis of data and mathematical models. By the end of the year, students will be comfortable manipulating variables and representing our world algebraically. This course culminates in the Common Core Algebra 1 Regents Exam which students are expected to take and pass in June.
