I'm not happy with my grade! How can I revise outcomes?
First of all, I'm glad that you want to improve your grade! This is an excelent first step.
Luckily for you we revisit outcomes all year long. As a result, everytime we revisit an outcome I will collect more evidence. If you do well on the most recent evidence, I will usually change your grade to reflect your new level of mastery. However, since outcomes last all year long, I do not allow students to make up specific pieces of evidence (the only exception to this rule are KnowRe assignments... please see below). You can prove your mastery on any given outcome on the next piece of evidence I collect!
That being said, there are some things you can do while you wait for an outcome to be revisited.
-
I recommend logging into jumprope and determining which outcomes you want to revise.
-
Double check that you have you done all of the KnowRe assignments associated with those outcomes. If not... do them! And then email me the specific assignment you completed. I will change your grade accordingly. (Sometimes this is enough to change your final rating.)
-
Each lesson on this website has been tagged by outcome. Feel free to search by outcome and revisit all of the lessons you feel you struggled with. This way, when the outcome is revisited you will be better prepared!
-
Ask a friend who has mastered that outcome for extra help.

Make an appointment to come see me for extra help.
