Class Discussion:

Here are some of the big ideas that we got out of our class discussion:

  • Linear Functions have a constant rate of change (slope)

  • Non-Linear Functions have a changing rate of change

  • The steeper the slope, the faster the rate of change

  • The y-intercept is the starting point of a situation

  • Graphs and situations can be split up into intervals
